Returns & Exchange Policy

Oils and Vinegars

No returns, exchanges or refunds. All oils and vinegars are final sale. Once oil and vinegar bottles have left our premises, we are unable to account for the conditions it was kept in before being brought back and so we cannot sell the same bottle to someone else. We thank you for you understanding as this is a food item.

Kitchenwares

Kitchenware items are not produced in-house. While we do our best to bring you quality items, we are a small business and will do our best to work with you on exchanging or replacing any defective items on a case-by-case basis.

All kitchenware items are thoroughly examined for defects (cosmetic and otherwise) before being placed for sale in store.

We will only accept exchanges for kitchenware if the item you purchased is functionally defective. Cosmetic defects will not be considered as we will not place these items for sale in store to begin with. Functional defects must be noted and called/emailed in within seven (7) days of purchase. Please call us at 905-620-1444 or email [email protected] with details of the product and the defect, and pictures if possible. You can also bring the item you consider defective to our store location during store hours:

We will fully examine the product and inform you whether you are entitled to a replacement as a result of the defect. If you are entitled to a replacement, we will replace the product. If an item is truly defective and an exchange or replacement is not available, we may choose to refund the value of your purchase on to a gift card.

After seven (7) days from purchase, no replacements or exchanges will be provided.

Sale Items

All sale items are final sale and non-refundable. No returns, or exchanges will be accepted.

Sale items are any food or non-food items purchased at a discounted price. This includes when items are purchased during a sale event and a discount is applied to that item.

Refunds

Refunds are processed in the event an item on your order is out of stock, backordered, or unavailable. In case of backorders, we will inform you before processing the remaining order. Should you indicate wanting to wait for the backordered item, we will process your order for shipping/delivery once the backordered item is received. Should you wish to receive the rest of your order as soon as possible, we may choose to refund the backordered item to the method of original payment and process the rest of your order for shipping/delivery. You may place another order once the backordered item is back in stock. All new orders are subject to our shipping rates and policies at the time the order is placed.

Voids or refunds may be processed in the event our system glitches and more than once transaction is processed to your payment method. All voids or refunds are performed as soon as we are aware of this -- usually within 24 hours.

In the event of a void to purchase, any additional pending transactions may clear from your bank/credit cards within a day (subject to individual banks and credit card companies). In the event of refunds, any additional transactions may be posted/charged to your bank/credit card, and the refunds will be posted within 5-7 business days by your bank or credit card company. Once transactions are processed for refund from our end, we are no longer liable for any additional charges that may be incurred until the refund is posted and showing on your bank/credit card.

In the event that you have run into issues while placing your order, we apologize for the technical glitch. Please contact us ASAP instead of continuing to place your order or processing your payment. If possible, email us with a screenshot of the error message you are receiving, and wait to hear back from us before you continue to try to order. 

Voiding a payment is not always possible based on the type of card you have used, in which case, we are charged the transaction fee for each payment that is processed. We are not reimbursed for these fees in the event that we have to refund these transactions. We may choose to refund any additional transactions minus these transaction fees in the event that multiple transactions are processed by you when the system gave you an error.
