This dual-purpose table fruit and oil variety was harvested early, so it has a very fresh herbal aroma and complex green fruit flavour. It is a very robust olive oil with strong bitterness and high pungency that compliments the green fruitiness. The aftertaste has both black and chili pepper character. Also known as the Gemlik variety.
